Congratulations!!!
Second at the Hill Country Baseball Tournament in Fredericksburg, Tx
The Team
We are a select baseball team from the Elgin area made up of 7-8 year old boys. The “Brick City Outlaws” name we chose comes from the fact that Elgin Texas is the largest brick maker in the Southwestern U.S. with three different brick yards in this small town, some even dating back to the 1800’s. We started this team in order for the boys to play against more competitive teams and extend the season into the summer. The Brick City Outlaws started in June 2007 as the Shockers. We played several tournaments in the Super Series and one USSSA. As a new team we have learned from last year. We have decided to play in more tournaments this year to gain experience. We are learning better ways to field, throw and bat—starting with mastering the fundamentals of the game. The coaches are not paid like some other select teams but they are dads that love the game and want to see all the players improve and do well. We want the boys to feel this is an extended family of their own. We have tried to keep the cost of joining this team low so everyone will be able to participate. If you have a son that would like to play on a competitive team, we still need a couple of players. Please contact us at info@brickcityoutlaws.com

Coaches Comments:
Parents, we will start playing games in September. Our first game is on September 14th. We will be using this fall season as an instructional way to teach the game of Baseball. We will try to get every player in different positions to see what positions they can play. We are not in it for the win, although a win would be nice. We are more interested in the kids learning the game and other positions. Remember this is a fall season that should be about training and instruction.
At this time our roster is full. If you are interested in the team please contact us. Send contact information to us by clicking the link under contacts. If your son would like to be a pick up player please contact us
